That little local guitar shop now becomes Music World Company...

Our journey began in 1976 when we were entering the new chapter of history. With humble beginnings our founder,Mr.Thant Zin, started as a small family-run local guitar shop nestled at general aung san market at the central of yangon (capital city of myanmar). That little local guitar shop now become MUSIC WORLD COMPANY and distributing many high quality musical instruments, audio equipments and many other great products.

1976
Founded as a small local guitar shop at the center of yangon myanmar.
1979
we introduced our own brand guitar strings and acoustic and electric guitars.
1999
Founded MUSIC WORLD Co.,Ltd.
2000
Opened the Mandalay branch office and showroom
2006
we started trading with singapore and china
2013
we introduced with our first partner, NIUX ,which produce digital multi effect processor for guitarists and bassists, digital pianos and digital drums.
2014
we brought in one of the giant microphone company from china,TAKSTAR, which offers a wide range of microphones, headphones , amplifiers and audio system.
2015
we didn’t forget our guitar players. We are proud to be the official dealer for LANEY(UK) & HH electronics.
2016
we moved into the professional audio market. We introduced STUDIO MASTER speakers and amplifiers to our audio market.
2017
we became the national distributor for sterling by music man guitar company. We got an agreement to distribute Ludwig drums, one of the unique brand from the USA.
2018
we opened another show room in yangon.
2019
we worked hard around this year and we got contact with many companies such as Paiste cymbals, Sabian cymbals, LTD guitars, Takamine , Karl Hofner violins, ESI audio, Mark Bass.
2019
we were the distributor of the Japanese technology innovator , ZOOM which produce muti effect processors , audio interfaces , recorders.
2020
we brought another studio gears partner from France , Prodipe, from which u can get high quality studio gears and microphones.
2021
we had built our new eight story premises to consolidate our scattered operation places across yangon. This building will be our new HQ, showroom and warehouse.
2022
Music World build the business partnership with one of the famous audio brand named "AUDIOCENTER" and expended our professional audio market.
